Tryn Restaurant has the recipe for Tuesday Date Night bliss

Tuesday is Date Night at Tryn Restaurant from 1 October, which means it is time to dress up and treat your significant other to an unforgettable evening of romance and culinary bliss.

At just R550 per couple for a 2-course dinner including a complimentary welcome cocktail to set the mood, it is the ultimate spoil in Steenberg’s stylish yet relaxed signature restaurant in the heart of the Constantia Valley.

Executive Chef Kerry Kilpin’s alluring Date Night menu for two has all the right ingredients for a special evening together. See and be seen in the vibrant, retro-inspired dining area, or snuggle up in one of the plush, private booths in the Ruby Room – the choice is yours.

Famous for her delicious tastes and textures with fresh and honest flavours and unexpected twists, Chef Kerry’s starters entice with a choice of seductive oysters, smooth-as-velvet cauliflower and pear soup, or her famous salt & pepper calamari. The mains of beautifully textured risotto, ethically sourced fish with a spicy lemongrass vinaigrette or succulent and flavourful pork belly will leave you well satisfied.

If you prefer a more substantial meal, Tryn’s summer celebration of three courses of your choice off Tryn’s à la carte menu is available for lunch or dinner at R435 per person. This 3-course summer special includes an amuse-bouche and Chef Kerry’s ever so moreish signature chocolate truffles.

The leisurely charm of Tryn’s stylish cocktail lounge and laid back vineyard terrace is ideal for sundowners and unhurried pre-dinner drinks. Take advantage of the after-work 2-for-1 cocktail special between 4 PM and 6 PM.

Taking full advantage of the long summer evenings and later closing time during Covid Level Two, Tryn has extended its opening hours for dinner from Tuesdays to Saturdays as of 1 October.

Tryn is open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch, and Tuesdays to Saturdays for dinner. To secure your table, call +27 (0)21 7137178 or email info@tryn.co.za.
